How it works
Type any value in any field. All other units in the same category recompute live. Eight categories cover what comes up most on a piping desk:
flow rate, pressure, viscosity (dynamic and kinematic), length, mass, torque, density and temperature.
Notes:
- Pressures are absolute / differential conversion factors. For gauge vs absolute, subtract or add 1.01325 bar (14.696 psi).
- Density "lb/US gal" uses the US liquid gallon (3.7854 L), not the imperial gallon.
- SSU (Saybolt) viscosity is provided through a separate temperature-dependent conversion and not included in this linear converter.
- Volumetric flow conversions for gas use actual conditions. For "standard" or "normal" gas flow, multiply by the appropriate density correction.
